Hello all, welcome to the 1st (new) update for Cerberus Pictures.
It’s been almost a year since our last update, a lot has happened and this substack has been ignored by our marketing for the large part. With a new system being placed this Substack will get an update every month. Anyways for the updates:
Contamination:
Our flagship film, Contamination, we have finished editing, filming and currently working with our new music composer, Saltasoles, to create an original sound track for the film. The trailer is also out:
As mentioned in the trailer as well, the release date is set for April to May 2024. We will have another trailer out soonish, after the music and VFX is finished, with the actual release date.
Unrelated to Contamination, we have new films set to be filmed over April, they are as follows:
TITLE 6A - The Symphony of Redemption:
A brand new film, this one is a proper horror film! A SLASHER!!!
Synopsis: Eddie's life is in disarray, a drop out from school and only a failing youtube channel to his name he has to find the motivation to push forward. That motivation is found with his new found friendship with a girl online named Alice. It is soon revelled that Alice is not who they appear as.
The script is finished and the film is set to be filmed the 11th and 12th of April 2024, release date is TBD as of now. The runtime is looking like it is going to be around 5 to 10 minutes as of now.
It will be directed and produced by Liam Clark and staring Alwyn Lee as "Eddie", James Lithgow as "Marcus", and Rosemary Cudmore as "Olivia". The role of "Jane" is currently in dispute between two actors and the actor for the role should be called in the next week or so.
The film will feature unique lighting and offer a very unique storyline and mood.
TITLE 3A
At the end of the filming of Contamination, our head of cinematography, Luca Kraljevski, decided to take a venture and produce his own film. The film is written and filmed by Luca with both him and Liam Clark directing.
The film covers difficult subject matters such as mental health issues and suicide through a bind bending and liminal medium.
The film is going to be close to 5 minutes long and set to be filmed on the 8th to the 10th of April 2024, just before The Symphony of Redemption.
The film is still undergoing a lot of pre-production in talent and location finding as well as the script still being finalised.
